MY BACKGROUND

From Level 3 Electrical straight into fire alarms

My entry into fire safety began right after finishing my Level 3 Electrical qualification. Rather than taking a generic domestic route, I went straight into specialised fire alarms — starting out primarily on Notifier systems. Over the years I’ve expanded across all major open and closed-protocol systems on the market, including Advanced Electronics, C-TEC, Gent, Kentec, Morley-IAS, and Fike, working across Apollo and Hochiki detection protocols.

I’ve worked across every stage of the system lifecycle: design, installation, full commissioning, routine servicing, and 24/7 emergency maintenance. Having a solid electrical foundation combined with years of field experience means I don’t just clear fault codes — I understand how the wiring, loop devices, and panel logic function as one.
